Lefkimmi is the second largest city in Corfu with about 5,000 inhabitants, located in the southern part of the island and is about 40 kilometers from the airport.

Lefkimmi is a picturesque town with old mansions, built on a fertile plain of olive groves and vineyards, crossed by a river. Next to the river bridge there are restaurants and cafes, there are several interesting temples. One have the largest Italian culture in the upper town. The closest beaches are in Molos, Alykes and Bouka at the river outlet
