Kanoni

Kanoni covers the entire peninsula south of Corfu Town and is about 3 km from the city center. It was named Kanoni from the French when the artillery was installed in the area in 1762. There is also the ancient temple of Artemis in the area. There are many hotels, restaurants, clubs and other shops that makes the area a tourist destination.
